Creating XSLT and X-Path Style Sheets used to transform S1000D XML data files into Published PDF Documents

- Technical Skills:
1. XSLT and X-Path
2. CSS - Must be able to style the published output with a high degree of precision.
3. Java - basic Java skills a plus.

- Analytic Skills:
1. Must be able to determine logical section breaks in the data, ie what should be a new paragraph, sentence, step, or section.
2. Determine, based off of the spec, which elements to use for converting, ie what is preliminary data, required tools, common info, etc.. Know the benefits and the limitations of using certain elements.
3. Must be able to analyze the source PDF to determine the flow. Also understand why data is presented a certain way, and develop a strategy for converting.
4. Be able to provide analysis of the source DMRL.
5. Have a critical eye for picking out different fonts, margins, and layouts so that you can style the published output to look like the source PDF.

- Knowledge:
1. Know the S1000D spec with an emphasis on Procedural and Descriptive DMs version 4.0 or 4.0.1. Must be able to interpret XSD files and also the PDF.

- Experience:
1. Must have practical experience creating XSLT and X-Path Style Sheets

- Education:
1. 4-Year College Degree (However, this can be flexible if applicant has significant proven experience creating XSLT and X-Path Style Sheets
