Development/Test/Validation Engineer - Mechanical - 12 Months - North East
We are urgently looking for an experienced Development Engineer or similar to join one of our key clients based in the North East on an initial 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
-Lead design validation plan & review activities for system development
-Lead application data collection
-Lead design reviews, DFMEA and PPAP activities
-Analyse and evaluate durability limit data
-NVH testing for new products
-Detail design schemes
-Manage and recommend design upgrades
-Design calculations
-Produce design solutions
-Develop effective test plans
Requirements:
-BSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar
-3 years Development Engineering within a relevant field
-Data acquisition and analysis experience required
-DFMEA & PPAP Experience
-DFSS experience
-Supplier experience beneficial
-Durability testing experience is desired.
The contracts are initially 12 months but are likely to be extended depending upon performance and scope of work available.
The offered rate is competitive but completely Dependent on level of experience.
