Embedded Software Engineer - Oil &Gas, Embedded C, RTOSSalary 40,000 - £45,000
I am looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on a ground-breaking project in the Oil and Gas Industry. The Job will entail working on the existing code as well as the opportunity to work on the next-generation projects for control and measurement systems.
The ideal Candidate will have worked in a safety regulated organisation and will have a passion for software technology within the Embedded domain. You will be capable of working in teams and working with minimal supervision.
As the successful candidate you will have an excellent opportunity to develop your embedded software skills and enter an Global organisation that will provide you with an excellent platform for your career within Embedded software in the Oil & Gas industry!
Essential:
4-5 years experience
Experience of C on embedded platforms
Real-Time embedded
Experience with 8/16-bit microprocessors
Ability to program to standards, e.g. DO-178B, MISRA
Ability to document software.
Useful:
Experience of embedded C++
Real-Time Operating Systems
Configuration Management Systems/Code-control such as SVN
Full Software Product Lifecycle experience developing Products from concept to Production
Qualifications
Minimum 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
