Forward Quality Management Engineer (FQM)- West Midlands
Amoria Bond are looking for a Forward Quality management Engineer (FQM) initially on a 12 month contract.
Our client is a large automotive manufacturer based in the West Midlands.
The successful Forward Quality Management Engineer will have a number of years of automotive experience at a large OEM or Tier 1 supplier, specialising in Interior Trim, notably within a Quality department.
The successful FQM Engineer with be required to author engineering documents and design guidelines to embed technical learning into future programmes. The FQM Engineers role will be aimed at improving technical performance on future programmes to prevent issue repetition.
The successful FQM Engineer's main responsibilities will include:
*Documenting issues, failure modes and lessons
*Identifying which issues justify the creation of new specifications
*Agreeing the technical aspects which must be controlled to prevent recurrence of issues.
The successful FQM Engineer must have the following essential skills:
*Experience with DFMEA/FMEA
*Understand and be motivated by the principal of best practice
*Experience in various aspects of interior trim, cockpits and consoles.
It is important that the FQM Engineer has knowledge and experience across several interior products as they will be expected to work on various different programmes for my client. The successful FQM Engineer will also be expected to work independently with the products and with issue resolution.
