Commercial Management Team Assistant
Temporary/On-going Contract
Central London
£11.00 per hour
Our Operations department have an opening for a new team member. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and hard-working team in an established professional services organisation.
Duties include -
*To be responsible for providing administrative support to the Commercial Management teams, including but not restricted to:
oActing as Personal Assistant to the Head of Commercial Management and Commercial Manager, as well as other team members as required.
oOrganising meetings of varying importance including invites, room bookings, refreshments and meeting packs.
oLog queries through the query management system in a timely and appropriate fashion.
oProcess documentation relating to Commercial Management using the established systems.
oBook travel and accommodation
oProactively monitor team deadlines and ensure these are met by colleagues
oManager team holiday chart
oManage the team meeting spread sheet
oProvide project support where necessary
oOrganise team meetings, team building activities and all other team events
oEmail and filing maintenance
oPrint and collate papers as required
oTo develop effective personal networks and relationships across the business
oStationery ordering
oInvoices
Essential skills -
*Track record of administrative experiences
*Ability to manage work, prioritise and cope with a demanding workload and many, sometimes competing deadlines
*Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience of word processing (Microsoft Word) combined with the ability to acquire other skills as necessary (eg databases and spreadsheets)
*Good organisational skills and a systematic approach to work, following established office procedures
*Initiative to identify improvements to procedures
*Strong organisational and administrative skills
*Ability to work under pressure situations
*Responds to change with commitment of enthusiasm
Desired skills -
*Degree qualified or studying towards a degree qualification
*Professional accounting qualifications
*Knowledge of the insurance industry
