Description
An EHS Project Advisor is urgently required for a 6 - 12 month contract in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a Leading company within the Oil and Gas industry to work with Management and Clients across several major projects, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and protect the environment from adverse effects.
Activities will include (but not be limited to)...
- Manage subcontractor to ensure full compliance with EHS regulations and protocols
- Regular liaison with internal GE staff and external client to ensure Strategic overview for EHS is fully aligned and compliant. Provide guidance and advice.
- Conduct audits and inspections.
Skills and Qualifications...
Mandatory:
- National/International Safety Qualification - NEBOSH
- Proven experience in a HSE Leadership/management post.
- Strong communication and client facing skills - internally and externally. A diplomatic approach with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous Field/Project Management experience.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or a similar high risk industry.
Desirable:
- Trained Lead Auditor (ISO)
- Risk Assessor
- Local candidate

- If you are successful and offered the job you will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate prior to going onsite.
- There may also be requirement to travel overseas to EU and non EU countries therefore you must be eligible to do this.
