Project Manager - Defence/Aerospace
A leading Defence and Aerospace communications organisation is looking for a Project Manager to join part of their business and assist with the delivery of a multi-million pound programme.
The preferred candidate will be from a Defence or Aerospace background and will have experience of project managing a technical product development life cycle.
Responsibilities will include:
*Management of relationships across multiple stakeholders.
*Building and leading a team from a range of technical disciplines.
*Achieving project milestones, schedules and budget requirements.
*Project risk management
*Identification and planning of required resources.
Required experience and skills:
*Project/Programme Management experience within a highly technical environment.
*High competency in Project Management techniques including: Earned Value Management, Critical Path & Pert Analysis.
*Risk Management.
*Strong negotiation skills.
*Product development experience with hardware, software, firmware & mechanical design elements.
*Sub contract management exposure.
*Relevant degree in an Engineering subject.
*Professional qualifications ie: APMP, Prince2
