My Dublin based client currently requires a SharePoint Administrator, the successful candidate will provide support for the existing SharePoint Farms/Implementations across the clients group of companies

The Role Will Include:-

  • Develop and implement SharePoint technical farm design and strategy across the client.
  • Work with customers to design SharePoint solutions that satisfy business requirements.
  • Develop and implement SharePoint collaboration solutions and sites using SharePoint 2007, create templates, custom workflows, custom WSP solutions, design forms and reports.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint application and permission issues
  • Site administration of both internal and external users
  • Security Reviews - periodic reviews of permission assignments
  • Document system processes and procedures in a clear manner
  • Participate in internal customer meetings, refine client requirements, and assist in technical training/demonstrations
  • Second line support of SharePoint environments, escalation and management of faults including out of hours support, if required. Escalation to 3rd level support including vendors as required
  • Capacity management, including hardware, memory and processor capacity
  • Resolution of issues in an efficient manner in line with service levels and incident management procedures
  • Statistical analysis of performance reports and recommendations and the implementation of changes to improve performance
  • Develop and implement service improvement plans
  • Peer reviewing and implementation of change requests
  • Provide training to other members of the team on SharePoint administration

Qualifications and Experience:                       

Required:

  • 7+ years experience or equivalent in an operation support environment
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Multi Farm design and consolidation experience
  • Strong knowledge of all versions of SharePoint Server
  • Strong knowledge of all versions of IIS, SQL Server
  • Knowledge of SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
  • Active Directory, DNS
  • Storage Technologies
  • Web Services and .NET Framework
  • Development Skills, .NET, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, etc.
  • VMware Virtual Infrastructure
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Expertise and experience with complex technical activities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to identify root causes to problems and find creative solutions

  • Colligo -  Contributor Client for outlook
  • Microsoft - Forefront Unified Access Gateway 2010 (UAG)
  • SharePoint Boost applications
  • Microsoft Dynamics 2012
