Description
The Senior Systems Administrator provides technical support for the IT environment in which the department's Siebel application platform is integrated.
The role:
- Provide technical leadership within the Siebel Technical Team with regard to infrastructure and network solution design, implementation and operation.
- Work closely with the department's infrastructure services areas, architecting, procuring and implementing infrastructure and network services required to support the Siebel and 3rd party applications, including Adobe form server and Intelledox document production.
- Troubleshoot infrastucture and network issues related to the Siebel and 3rd party applications.
- Development & implementation of processes required to support the effective operation of new or improved technical initiatives.
- High level support for all Siebel and 3rd party application environment.
Skills/experience required:
- Demonstrated senior systems administration skills and experience in the integration of enterprise class applications into a network environment, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft 2008/Windows 7 SOE LAN and desktop infrastructure;
- detailed understanding of the secure gateway environment for provision of corporate applications over the Internet;
- experience in integrating applications with directory authentication services;
- provision of Microsoft and third party application monitoring frameworks.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS who currently hold a SECRET/NV1 security clearance.
