Job description
According to your experience, your tasks are as followed:
- Define the test requirements and test scenarios and execute them mainly for interfaces validation
- Enhance test cases with test data; Maintain test cases after defect fixes and design changes
- Diagnose defects by building knowledge of the solution, accessing and interpreting log files and querying messages queues.
- Follow-up on own defects in relationship with other teams' test manager and developer
- Support test/defect manager, doing defect management for a dedicated area of the programme
- Participate to the setup of test automation using QTP (with support of experts from test delivery centre)
- Support test manager in ALM setup/maintenance
Your profile
Knowledge and experience
- You have a Master or Bachelor degree
- You have excellent written and oral knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in project environment mostly in testing
- You are familiar with testing methods and tools (HP ALM, able to configure it)
- You have experience with SOAP UI (groovy script, configuration Online and FF services, WSDL, ...)
- You have a good overview about the file transfer processes (eg XFB/Secured FTP)
- You have experience with XML structure and XMLSpy, DOS Command, DB Oracle and TOAD
- You can perform defect diagnose understanding logs
- You know how to log, track and report on defects, not from a tooling and relational point of view
- You are willing propose test cases enhancements and implement them
The following is an asset:
- Experience in testing in complex test environments.
- Experience in the methodological set-up of test environments (TMAP, Test frame ...).
- ISTQB foundation certification
- Experience within a banking environment
