Production Manager/Roll Out Manager, Network Rollout - Mobile infrastructure
For our customer Telenor we are seeking a Production Manager
Production Manager must ensure initiation, implementation, monitoring and completion of development projects.
Work description:
- The main focus for a Production Manager is progress, risk and financial management within an assigned portfolio of development projects.
- Managing and monitoring the progress and finances of projects. The Production Manager is responsible for including interdisciplinary projects.
- The Production Manager will be responsible for assignments in one or more disciplines.
- The Production Manager can be allocated to major programs/project for periods of time.
- Implementation and monitoring of the plan and design activities, also against other units/departments.
- Verify whether the contractor can complete the assignment as a turnkey project including technical planning.
- Risk management on the portfolio of projects.
- Prioritization of projects within the portfolio.
- Evaluate and determine solutions for change requests.
- Clarify with the client if changes are outside own authority.
Work tasks:
- Monitoring of orders and contractor responsible.
- Coordination and follow-up with clients/customers and developers.
- Participate in regular meetings with contractors when needed.

Skill demands:
- Higher technical education or formal education within one of the following areas: Management, Project Management, Business/Economy.
- Experience from similar work tasks either from Telenor or other telecom related projects.
- Developed management skills, motivating and a teamleader. Must be documented through at least 2 recent references.
- Good knowledge of telecom network and rollout of Telecom infrastructure, Experience with production planning. Documented through CV.
- Need to be an advanced user of MS Office tools (Excel, Access, or similar)
- Good written and verbal communication skills, Norwegian/Scandinavian language is required.
- Work experience from the interface between Telenor and Telenors contractors is an advantage. Quick mobilisation is preferred.
