SharePoint Architect

Description

We currently have an exciting contract opportunity for a SharePoint Architect with the ability to telecommute from anywhere in the US.

The SharePoint 2013 Architect is responsible for implementing the appropriate infrastructure environment for the R & D Application. This position will setup and manage infrastructure, topology code repository/deployment, and administration of initial SharePoint 2013 environment.

Responsibilities and prospects for SharePoint Architect include:

Produce and maintain documentation for supported systems including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and detailed design documents.

Maintain the infrastructure of all environments and ensure the User’s requirements are met. Once the environment is established this person will also be responsible for the development of supported applications

Create designs for SharePoint solutions, including design, navigation, and layout of content for internal web sites.

Assist with SharePoint development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementing.

Design and create user interfaces that are easy to use, provide a consistent experience, and comply with standards.

Design and create SharePoint solutions using the appropriate technology.

Enhance existing SharePoint solutions to correct errors, improve the usability or provide new functionality.

Design and specify test procedures including unit, system, and integration testing.

Create and maintain documentation, including standards, implementation plans, configuration, and procedural documents.

Education and experience needed for SharePoint Architect:

Bachelors in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

C#, .Net, ASP.Net development experience required

Experience with SharePoint 2007 and 2010

Experience with SharePoint 2013 preferred
