Need Software Engineer for design and development, and evolution of internal use applications.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include assisting with architecting new web application, development of test suite infrastructure and tests, and training other developers in Catalyst, DBIx::Class and related technologies. Candidate will be shepherding development of a new application as well as assisting with the transition of a legacy perl-CGI application to Catalyst.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience developing web applications
  • Experience with relational database systems (PostgreSQL and Oracle preferred)
  • In-depth experience with SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of Perl
  • Experience with the Catalyst Perl MVC Framework
  • Experience with DBIx::Class
  • Familiarity with Unix-like systems
  • Experience developing test coverage for new and legacy systems
