My client, a leading Medical Device Company based in Michigan, now has a fantastic contract opportunity for a Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist.This market leading Medical Device company is currently looking to build out its Pharmacovigilance team and is looking to hire a Senior Pharmacovigilance specialist on an initial 6 month contract term to facilitate the growth of the department. The company is renowned for its innovative products and working environment. The rate range for this position is $40 - $60 per hour.
The successful candidate will have three primary goals in the role; establishing the compliance framework for Medical Device reporting obligations, providing leadership to key colleagues across the business on Drug and Device Safety and reviewing and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Candidates for this positions must have the following skills and experience:
- 7 Years Pharmacovigilance experience
- Medical Device Industry experience
- FDA Experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Proven Leadership experience
The following skills and experience are desirable but not essential:
- Oncology experience
- Medical Information or Medical Informatics
- European Regulatory Body experience
- Nursing background
