Description

Sharepoint Administrator required for leading financial services organisation based in Bedford for a 3-6 month contract.

Working as part of a growing IT department the main purpose of the role is:

1)Support Administration and Services in SharePoint 2010.

2)Provide basic SharePoint training to users.

3)Gather Business requirements and build custom workflows using SharePoint Designer.

4)Monitoring site usage and working with site owners to determine the status of their projects, decommissioning redundant sites and helping the owners to refresh stagnant ones to ensure they continue to support the needs of the business.

5)Manage application deployment and support the operation and maintenance of our SharePoint applications.

6)Work with IT on migration, backup and recovery of sites and content to ensure system continuity.

7)Manage the SharePoint servers (windows updates, Service pack updates)

To be considered for this role you will need at least 3 years experience in the below:

1)SharePoint 2010 site administration, experience with Central Admin functions.
2)Configuration and management of SharePoint Workflows, Custom Content Types and Web Parts.
3)Development of custom lists, forms and workflows in SharePoint designer 2007 and 2010.
3)Good understanding of the SharePoint security model and Windows AD security - 4) Ability to customise sites with SharePoint Templates and a working knowledge of HTML and CSS
5)Understanding of and ability to work with XML configuration files
6)Ability to deploy, manage and update third party Solution Packages into the SharePoint server farm.
