Manchester - Development Engineer - £28,000 - £32,000 p.a

Development engineer urgently needed to join a UK owned company where your can make an immediate impact within the team. My client is now expanding their team due to securing major projects and is now looking to add a development engineer to begin an excellent career opportunity long term with the company.

You will be involved in the full product lifecycle development of industrial products based upon embedded microcontroller and DSP platforms. You will have experience in embedded software and have an enthusiastic and passionate drive for leading edge technology.
Ideally you will have the following experience:-

- Degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science (or similar) with a good understanding
of embedded software systems including both analogue and digital or relevant
experience.

- Highly proficient in C/C++ and Assembly programming languages

- Embedded software development experience under real time operating system (RTOS)
environments
Desirables include:-

- Knowledge of ARM9/ARM-Cortex and DSP architectures

- Experience of embedded Linux
