My client, a UK Bank based in the North West and the North East are hiring for a SME to join their Application support team paying £40k-50k.In summary, the client are looking to develop a Subject Matter Expert for their Core Banking and Savings team. This application is critical to the whole company and you will be a main point of contact for this team. Crucial responsibilities for this role include:
- Stakeholder manager and relationship management
- Due to the level of this role, you will be dealing with senior stakeholders across the business, so having experience managing relationships and developing them will be key experience required for this role
- Understanding of Mainframes
- You will be supporting the application, which runs on Unisys mainframe so again this will be an important requirement
- Change Management
- You will need to understand how to improve processes and how to deliver service.
This experience does not need to have been within a banking environment, so this is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door and be part of one of the most critical application support teams within the bank.
