The Sales Director (Business Development) will report to the FS Head of Sales for Asia, and will play critical role in managing sales targets of the company in that particular country. S/He will be responsible for his or her targets and will interact with fellow financial service business unit colleagues regionally and globally. Manage key account and develop new accounts within the territory.

The Sales Director (Business Development) primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, cultivate, and close deals with leading financial services institution within their respective territory.
  • Identify business leads, industry and customer buying intelligence.
  • Open up new customers and create a seamless transition of clients from new sales to strategic partners
  • Responsible for the development, execution and delivery of quality solution focused client presentations and proposals.

The Sales Director (Business Development)

  • 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 10+ years of software solutions/services sales experience within the global financial services community.
  • Fluency in English with deep understanding of both Asian and Western cultures
  • Prior working experience with a western financial or services institution in Asia or abroad is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial service industry terminology, systems and market segmentation. Specific experience in any of the following industries is a plus.
  • Highly preferred individual characteristics include:
    • Must work independently in complex fast paced environment to ensure quality and timeliness.
    • Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Excellent written, verbal presentation and organizational skills in both Chinese and English, ability to interface with business and information technology.
    • Solid sales achievement record meeting and exceeding targets.
    • Demonstrate account planning, salesmanship and doggedness
    • Promising leadership ability, organizational planning skills and strong time management skills
    • Must have exemplary customer service skills.
    • Willingness to travel is required
