Structured Products Trade Support

A top tier Investment Bank has an urgent requirement for a Structured Product Trade Support for a 6 month rolling contract working closely with their innovative and busy trading desk.

Trade Control is responsible for trade capture, data quality, trade life cycle event management, query resolution, front to back process flows, and confirmation validation. The trade control team works closely with the Front Office, Business Finance, Technology and Operations as well as other teams in support areas such as Collateral and Credit.

The Structured Credit Trade Support Team supports trading of the following products: Bonds, TRS, FX, IRS (vanilla and structured), snCDS, CDX and iTraxx index, index tranche and options, bespoke STCDOs, LAM STCDO, FTD/NTD, long-short STCDOs, CDO^2s. Derivatives are traded in note and unfunded form.

The EMEA Credit Middle Office group has a strong track record for delivering a robust control environment while delivering innovative solutions to support new products. The applicant will be expected to understand and challenge team procedures to continually improve our support model.

Requirements:

* A highly motivated individual who is a strong team player and inquisitive in nature, with a track record of working under pressure within a Trade Control environment.
* In addition to ongoing complex trade maintenance and reporting, the candidate will assist in the implementation of improvements to the system infrastructure and control environment.
* An extremely diverse workload demands a demonstrable problem solving ability, organisational skill and management of complexity in a very controlled manner.
* A strong experience of credit derivative products is essential, preferably with knowledge of exotic products and structures.
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to assimilate complex deals with little or no direction, efficient in managing their own workload and have a strong understanding of a controlled environment.
* The candidate will be heavily involved with the introduction of new initiatives, products, services, procedures, systems or hardware solutions to improve efficiency.
* This role demands an ambitious and highly motivated character.
