Service Manager, Oxford, £Negotiable, Temporary
My client based in Oxford is looking for a Service Manager to be the catalyst for critical changes, shaping future operational delivery, promoting timely hospital discharge, developing integrated community teams, implementing new processes and working with staff to make the transformation a success.
Service Manager, you will also carry out the following:
- Change our services in line with government policy
- Lead the operational delivery of the Adult Services Improvement Programme, oversee the transformation of services and build relationships with a range of partners that will reduce the number of people admitted to hospital and the length of the average stay
- Implement a change programme across all operational teams, including hospital discharge teams
- Lead the integration of community teams with health partners
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A degree or professional/management qualification - Or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years' experiences delivering complex change projects
- Experience in efficiencies through astute financial planning and maintained links with a network of partners and stakeholders
- Knowledge of adult social care legislation and policy
