SharePoint Application Architect
Pittsburgh, PA
8 months+ contract
The purpose of the project is to develop a system to automate the existing paper based investment library and related processes. The current back file will be scanned, tagged and stored in a new electronically based system. Moving forward the system will handle submission, storage, searching and retrieval of all related content.
Required Skills:
- Ability to design and create SharePoint solutions
- 5-7 years experience with SharePoint with recent experience to include version 2010
- Experience programming with SharePoint Client and Server Object models.
- Experience designing Site Definitions, Columns, Custom Field Types, Content Types in SharePoint 2010.
- Experience working with Mid to Large size SharePoint implementations.
- 1 year of experience developing PowerShell scripts.
- Experience with MS .NET Framework 3.5 or 4.0
- Cooperative attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Occasional travel within Pittsburgh region
- Off-hours work may be required
- Ability to multi-task projects and smaller work requests
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Knowledge Lake ECM tools
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills leveraging 10g or 11i
- 1 year WCF preferred
- 1 year SQL Server Reporting Services
