One of ACT's high profile Federal Government departments is seeking an experienced Integration Technical Architect to play an integral role in a large program of work. You will formulate and deliver technical solutions to effectively integrate broader infrastructure environment changes to the platform.
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following;
- Formulate and deliver technical solutions to support functional enhancements & product upgrades of the platform.
- Provide technical solutions for end user monitoring of the platform
- Development, implementation & transition to the support teams of processes required to support the effective operation of new or improved technical initiatives.
- Provide a Tier 3 technical support process for resolving system incidents escalated by the support teams.
- Provide skills and knowledge transfer to departmental officers.
To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN and desktop infrastructure;
- Proven experience with Microsoft SOE environment including Server 2008 and SQL Server
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of infrastructure and related services to support large scale mission critical systems, particularly configurations geared to provide high availability and redundancy.
- High level understanding of Web services
- Adequate Scripting skills for automation of admin tasks.
- Good understanding of Networking, Firewall, Routing, SAN.
- Experience with secure Internet gateway technologies & structures
