MicroStrategy Developer / Business Intelligence Developer / MicroStrategy / SQL / Netezza -London - 6 months - £500 - £600 per day ( Dependant on Experience )
Senior BI Developer / MicroStrategy / Business Intelligence / Reporting / SQL / Netezza / ETL Toolsets / Data Modelling
Our client are currently seeking two experienced Business Intelligence Developers with extensive Microstrategy and SQL experience. The contracts will be for an initial 6 months with a strong possibility of extensions.
Essential
* Demonstrable experience in developing large scale global reporting platforms
* Extensive experience throughout the software development life cycle
* Interpersonal skills including presentation, negotiating, conflict resolution, etc
* Proven experience in data analysis and willingness to the business context of technical requirements
* Strong communication skill sets. It is vital that the successful candidate can explain complex technical issues in non-technical terms to business stakeholders
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise within parallel development cycles and aggressive timelines
* Knowledge and experiences of SDLC methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability
* Skilled in business requirements analysis with ability to translate business information into technical specifications
> Must have extensive MicroStrategy experience
Additional
* Knowledge of data warehouse appliances, e.g. Netezza and SQL
* Experience of reporting against very large data sets through MicroStrategy
* Appreciation of emerging and newer technologies
* Knowledge of Data Modelling methodologies
