Description
Responsibilities- Monitors and manages the TPA adjusters who adjust, investigate and settle WC and Liability insurance claims of a moderate to severe nature.
- Examines claims and other records to determine insurance coverage, best practice compliance and appropriate resolution for the claims.
- Recommends proactive action and tracks adjuster's activity regarding resolution and/or settlement of claims in accordance with prescribed authority.
SKILLS
Need to have experience with Workers' Compensation adjusting. Typically requires a college degree and two to four years of experience in claims adjusting. Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal. Experience will considered in lieu of college degree. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs required.
