Cost Optimisation Lead - Financial Services - Midlands. My client, a leading global financial services firm, urgently require a Cost Optimisation Lead to join a major, global strategic programme aiming to transform their Service Management model. As Cost Optimisation Lead you will play a central role in ensuring the cost optimisations programmes are managed effectively from a finance perspective. You will be responsible for defining and evolving the existing Cost Optimisation model, statistical and commercial analysis of cost optimisation proposals, prioritising saving opportunities, actively supporting cost reduction and negotiating between technology services owners and cost optimisation stakeholders.

Vendor/Contract Management Experience
Ability to work with global teams
Experience in supporting large projects
Ability to obtain results through influence
High level of customer awareness and commercial focus
Appropriate domain experience
Experience with Statistical, numerical and analytical processes
Management experience and ability to lead and coach
Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders
Well developed analytical and problem solving experience
Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organization
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Advanced knowledge in MS Office products
Financial services/banking/insurance background
