A key defence client based in the High Wycombe area is currently on the look out for a software lead design engineer to join their team on a contract basis, the position is likely to be for around 3months.
Responsibilities include leading the software development team, creating software design documentation and implementations as part of an integrated product team incorporating other software, hardware, HDL, and mechanical engineers.
Key skills required:
Embedded linux (5years +)
Experience in leading a software team
Experience in Linux and VxWorks kernel driver writing and associated tool chains
Knowledge of CVS, SVN and SCM working practices
Experience in Windows device driver writing would be advantageous
Experience in interfacing to hardware also an advantage
