Title: Marketing Coordinator

Duration: Six month contract (likely to extend)

Location: Atlanta, GA- Dunwoody/Perimeter area

Our client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a 6 month contract in the Atlanta Perimeter area.  This person will serve as a liaison for key loyalty programs vendors, service center coordinators and internal contacts for companywide redemption and brand management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal/external contacts to insure the member kit fulfillment and redemption systems are working properly. Notify contacts when problems arise and work to resolve the issues.
  • Work with key vendors and internal contacts to implement brand refreshes in a timely manner.
  • Assist with coordination in key areas to help execute the overall plan.
  • Collaborate with the global teams in the implementation of global materials and tailor them to ensure success in local markets
  • Work with the campaign team on marketing launch efforts, and to ensure the promotion (and therefore awareness) of opportunities
  • Coordinate service center training on new enhancements by providing work flow and product briefs. 
  • Understand and track the performance of loyalty programs projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 2-3 years progressive work-related experience in product/brand management, product development, marketing or operations, travel industry experience is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated web and interactive platform knowledge and an understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale marketing projects from conception through implementation and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff. Ability to develop and present data-driven recommendations successfully, promotes items persuasively, and shapes the opinions of others.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles and concepts. 
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving ability and demonstrated creative thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high quality customer-focused orientation, including providing clear, accurate information; explaining procedures or materials or providing supplemental information; anticipating problems or questions.
  • Demonstrated appreciation and understanding of consumer and intermediaries and ability to develop consumer understanding based on research and existing trends.  
  • Demonstrated effective problem solving and analytical skills for the purpose of evaluating marketing data and trends and resolving issues with marketing programs and/or implementation.  Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the relevant labor market, economic conditions, and industry trends, and ability to analyze these factors and draw logical conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
