Description
Responsibilities
- Database installation, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and day to day database management tasks.
SKILLS
- Must have intimate working knowledge of Oracle DB and products like RAC, RMAN, DataGuard, Flashback, OEM, Gateways and APEX.
- Mid level GoldenGate experience is a plus.
- Unix and Linux is a must.
- Shell Scripting along with a working knowledge of infrastructure elements like storage, network & OS as it relates to the database required.
- Must have knowledge and experience to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with Security Controls like SOX, PCI will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must have strong interpersonal & communication skills and be a team player.
- Candidate must also coordinate and provide 24x7 on call support as needed.
- Expertise in Database Design is required.
