Commercial Manager/Product Marketing/Business 2 Business Sales/B2B/3 Month Initial Contract/Start ASAP/£22.50 per hour/Located in Abingdon
Capita have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Manager, to join our highly reputable client, located in Abingdon. This position is for an initial 3 month contract and requires someone to start immediately.
Our client is in the process of launching an exciting new App, for which you will be responsible in signing up third parties, to provide their Apps, through our client. This is a chance for you to be part of key strategic activity for the company and demonstrate commercial awareness, drive and negotiation skills as part of this high profile Apps team.
You will identify key decision makers and make initial contact with the client to generate interest in the product. Carry out visit's or conference calls to demo the App, negotiate terms and sign up suppliers. You will work through the onboarding process with suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
Essential Skills:
- Must have strong commercial awareness
- Previous B2B sales experience
- High levels of tenacity, with the ability to make sounds decisions
- Strong negotiation and influential skills
- Evidence of identifying and securing suppliers, within challenging/conflicting environments
- Ideally educated to a degree level
- Excellent communication skills
