Commercial Officer - SC Cleared

Commercial Officer required to support the placing of requirements and contracts through defence processes. The role requires you to provide procurement and commercial services ensuring that contracts and suppliers meet the clients needs. Main duties will involve using government processes such as OJEU and MOD procurement tools to deliver procurement activities and you will also be responsible for prioritising work packages and projects within a department.

As Commercial Officer, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

- Experience of tendering and placing contracts in accordance with Public Procurement Regulations.

- Knowledge of EU Directives/Procurement law.

- Experience of using the MOD framework FATS.

- Experience of Defence contracting.

- Knowledge of Finance/Procurement systems ideally Peoplesoft.

- Security Clearance to SC level.

- Ideally CIPS qualified.
