PCH has an immediate opening for a Senior Web Designer to plan, design and execute Mobile and web based material, emails, interactive experiences and more.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and execute designs for web, email, and mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad or Android.
- Interact closely with online creative teams, marketing personnel and various other departments to develop, schedule, and produce projects through completion.
- Exercise judgment in determining both the strategic and tactical approaches for project specific design initiatives, under tight deadlines
- Be the key point of contact for specific project development resources, serving as an deliverable project manager from a creative and tactical perspective
- Research design and interactive trends utilizing internet and other means
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Art or Design or 5+ years of professional experience in design, advertising and corporate branding
- Have a strong passion for design and a vision for how designs can be best applied to a mobile medium.
- Proven track record designing usable, cutting-edge mobile and web interfaces
- Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5, media queries and CSS3
- Ability to build emails that render properly across major email clients and browsers (responsive email build knowledge a plus).
- Understanding of information architecture and its application in UI Design a plus
- Working knowledge of how to translate wireframes into design a plus
- Comprehensive understanding of project ownership from assignment through delivery
- Advanced branding, visual design, and typography skills
- Ability to quickly familiarize with brand goals, integrate style into design, and deliver projects on time
- Confident and capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to deliver stunning results on a tight deadline.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Enthusiastic team player who looks out for others, provides guidance, and readily shares knowledge
