SQL Data Integration Engineer (Telecommute position)

Position Description
This contract position involves data integration and manipulation of hospital and healthcare data (e.g., claims, charges, etc.) using existing SQL/Oracle, Unix/Linux, and existing Ruby data parser tools.

Technical Skills
Candidates should have 2+ years experience in the following:

Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with a relational database is required (Note: You will be tested prior to engagement);

Unix / Linux shell scripting;

Ruby or another OOP / and solid understanding of principles of object oriented programming; and

healthcare experience a plus but not a requirement.

Location: Contractor, Remote, Telecommuting.

All candidates will need to take a technical skills test involving SQL/RDBMS of choice, Ruby and Unix.

All candidates selected are subject to a criminal background check and one time drug screening test.

Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Compensation
Based upon results of your technical skills assessment, data integration analysts earn between $70K and $90K per year. Average of 50 hours per week from home is required. No travel required. This opportunity is a 12+ month long term engagement.
