Network Engineer, Cisco Routers, Switches and Load balancers(F5/Citrix/Radware/Cisco) CCNA or CCNP,Network ( LAN ). Network Engineer This role will work on various network hardware/software but biased towards Cisco Routers, Switches and Load balancers(F5/Citrix/Radware/Cisco) and to ensure that network devices are implemented, maintained and highly available as deployed for the business' applications.Detail job description:Must have excellent client communications skills, and experience of working in a dynamic team environment, work closely with Linux and Windows team.
Experience in supporting high availability customer-focused environments
Degree education or equivalent experience
Demonstrable track record of the support and troubleshooting of large complex DC network infrastructure and devices around Cisco technologies (Cisco DEVICE firewalls and switching, Cisco content switching & load balancing hardware (F5/Radware/Citrix/CSS/ect), Experience of the Cisco 6500 or Nexus series of switches
Experience of supporting a MS or UNIX environment and excellent prioritisation and planning abilities. Minimum of CCNA certification - Ideally CCNP certified or currently studying towards CCNP.
Knowledge & experience around routing and switching technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, HSRP & VRRP.
Work closely with Network Architect to understand and comply with Network architectural standards, Solution Architect, and Product Architect to understand the business requirement.
Work closely with project management teams to ensure that project deliverables are understood and timescales are met.
Produce a detailed documentation set that includes implementation instructions for handover to implementation resources, implementation of configuration on customer-facing devices.
Performa Job as per approved change window and architectural procedures in DataCenter. Update/maintain all documentation requested by management and will be tasked with improving such documentation as required.
Experience in producing Fault Incident reports and Datacenter Device Performance Monitoring reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
