My client, a fast growing, FMCG company based in central Newcastle are looking for a SQL DBA to help with database management, intergration and development in thier head office. This contract will start on a 6 month basis, with the chance of going perm or of an extention after this period.My client requires the following skills -
- MCITP / MCTS certification (SQL Server)
- Minimum 3 years experience MSSQL server
- Back up, restoration and recovery model experience
- SSIS/SSRS
- Optimisation of databases
- Performance tuning
- Minimum 3 years experience with Windows Server (including Active Directory and Proper Disk Configuration)
- Scripting language experiance (ASP.NET/C#) desirable
