We are seeking an ETL Architect for a 6 month contract position in Roswell, GA. An ETL Architect/Developer with DS and Netezza skills, that would play the role of coach/advisor/consultant to build skills and confidence in the team as well as ensure that we were delivering a good performing tool.

Responsibilities:

The ETL Architect is responsible for defining and delivering the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) strategy, processes, and technology solution to support cross-boundary data-to-data integration, and ETL with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. The ETL Architect sets Enterprise and project technical direction and provides oversight and technical checkpoints to enforce Enterprise standards and quality of solutions as they pertain to data movement into and out of the EDW environment. The ETL Architect is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the correct technology and processes are in place to deliver timely and accurate information into the EDW. In a partnership with Enterprise Architecture, the ETL Architect sets the enterprise and project technical direction related to the EDW. The ETL Architect is responsible for ensuring the technical direction and architecture complies with guidelines and restrictions for leveraged environments. The ETL Architect will lead efforts to define and develop technical standards for data movement and transformation as well as review all designs to ensure those standards are met. The ETL Architect provides guidance and expertise to resolve technical issues. The ETL Architect researches new technologies, tools and methodologies as they emerge that may be applicable to the ETL architecture.
