Description:
Plan and lead the design and implementation of all activities for a specific function in alignment with overall business requirements including process analysis, design/re-design and/or organization structure definition.
Additional Job Details:
Design the SAP TM planning function for trucks.
Build requirement profiles (ie, geographical and/or time-based).
Develop cost profiles (truck vs. less than a truck), penalties for early vs. late arrivals and stop charges (eg, # of stops and its costs).
Design incompatibility conditions and overall planning options.
Define resource management like vehicles and schedules.
Configure lanes and route management, including distances, duration, means of transports and carriers available.
Must have strong knowledge of the TM optimizer.
Must have BRF+ knowledge.
Must have broad background of logistics projects.
