OSS Yard Manager (m/f)

Description

• The OSS Yard Manager has the responsibility to supervise all on-shore contractors works to ensure successful fabrication and assembly of the Offshore Substation Topside an time and within the required Quality standards and HSES regulations.
• He ensures that the delivery of the substation free-issued equipment and components are stored, handled and maintained in accordance
• with project and vendor requirements.
• He manages the Project commissioning supervisors for the onshore commissioning and testing activities.
• He acts as a client representative in the fabrication yards. He has to give advice and support to the OSS Package Manager.
• He coordinates the technical functions and work in his/her operational area and the package discipline engineers to ensure all relevant guidelines and standards as well as project proce- dures are followed.
• Supervises contractor and subcontractor work development is in line with agreed schedules and to required spec/quality
• He keeps and maintain a safe work environment within his team and the contractors an site according to customer and project HSES guide-
• lines and procedures.
• Stay informed of the HSE&S system and the procedures relevant to the function as well as to work in accordance with the requirements
• defined therein
• Obliged to react an observed nonconformities to the written procedures and to contribute to the improvement of the system

• function as well as to work in accordance with the requirements defined therein
• Responsibilities towards Permit
• Ensure and co-ordinate the implementation of applicable issues from the permit. Stay informed an applicable updates of the permit
• Report an HSE&S issues upon request from permitting authority (BSH)
• Coordinate his work activities to allow project delivery within the set targets in compliance with contracts and requirements
• He ensures that contractor's workforce is productively engaged at all times and seeks proactively to resolve any issues that may lead to
• non-productive time
• Supervision of the onshore site contractors works (resource check against contractors plan)
• Review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements of the contrac- tors site activities in cooperation with the related stakeholders.
• Provide advice and support to the Package Manager and the project team
• Reporting an site progress activities, HSES and Quality to the Pack- age Manager
• Closely cooperation with the Site Coordinator in order to ensure a safe and successful transport and installation handover activities
• Use the provided project document control system for all phases of the project
• Supervise and keep control of the site delivery goods in adherence to the
• Project and vendor recommended storage and maintenance pro-
• Regular reporting to Package Manager
• Deliver concepts according the set targets
• Site Progress Report on Fabrication, Construction, Assembly, Commissioning & Testing contractor activities.
• Join contractors site meetings
• Monitor & Control the project developments and progress
• Monitor and document lessons learnt
• Keeps daily log of all site activities
• Update and maintain OSS consignment list
• Regular reporting to the Package Manager
• As build documentation for hand-over to the Implementation Team
• Authority to request information from OSS Package Team
• Authority to professional instructions to people allocated to the site team
• Authority to delegate tasks within his own team
• Authority, after alignment with the Package Manager, to initiate nec essary measures to reach the project targets
• Authority to sign in accordance with the "Delegation of Authority" (DoA)
• No authority to sign contracts
• No authority to present the project in public relations

• According to the specific function requirements
• Engineering discipline
• Site experience on fabrication yards or construction sites
• Fluent in English & German. Danish knowledge is desirable
