A leading rail client based in the Chippenham area urgently seek an experienced Qualified Accountant for an initial 5 month contract.
Key skills/Experience:
- Partner project managers to ensure they have accurate info with regard to project costs and forecasts.
- Ensure project managers are advised of and comply with financial policies and practices.
- ensure that accounting policies regarding Capitalisation are followed and that the balance sheet accurately reflects the assets developed by the business.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of Reasearch and Development forecasts and presentation material.
- continuously improve the way costs are managed in the Research and Development Directorate and to champion value for money decision making.
- provide cover for the Commerical and Technology Cost Accountant.
