We have an outstanding opportunity for Senior Business Analyst to join an International Travel company who are opening an office in Sydney. 
Join a new 40+ sized IT Project due to start shortly in Mid June 2013 and is expected to go on for 12-14 Months.
     Experience working with Government Clients is very useful as you must either have Security Clearance or the ability to obtain Clearance  in a short period of time.

  • Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams

  • Ability to deal with the inherent ambiguity related to requirements definition and analysis, and exercise good judgment in line with the company's overall goals
  • Excellent analytical skills and creativity in proposing multiple options/solutions to a requirement, and select the best based on various priorities like time for development, usability, maintainability, etc
  • Excellent abilities in working the Microsoft Office suite, UML Modeling Tools.
  • Good understanding of software technologies and methodologies, especially any forms of Agile / Scrum
  • Good understanding of object-oriented approaches to software development
Experience:  
  • Overall IT industry experience of 5-9 years
  • Proven ability to develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures, including the designing and documenting detailed process flows, and the development of operational performance and quality metric standards and reports
  • Functional exposure / experience to Travel Domain research and development domain preferred.
  • Writing user stories using JIRA  tool - 1 or greater  experience
  • Use cases , Business process flow diagrams, UML using  MS Visio tool
  • Experience in product or project management, including preparation of requirement documents, UI design and use case scenario's
  • Understanding of product life cycle management
  • Experience with managing development projects, including documentation review and testing activities.
  • Interact with customers off or onsite as per requirement
  • High level of responsibility and ownership
Australian Security Clearance is required - or eligibility. With this in mind overseas candidates generally cannot be reviewed at this stage.
