In order to support a customer project, we are looking for a SW-development-engineer for Windows based Test Software Application with the below stated skills and experiences:The Test and Measurement Division is developing Radio Communication Test Systems for RF, Protocol and Application Testing of mobile handsets for next generation networks
(HSPA+, LTE).
Development of an end to end test solution to measure key performance indicators like IP data throughput and latency for mobile handset. Simulation of real life network
conditions in a controlled lab environment using applications running natively on smartphones.
Job Description:
· Development/Extension of a Windows based Test Software Application for Mobile Radio Communication Testers
· Unit and integration/release testing
· Customer on-site support and related travel activities might be necessary on request.
Qualification:
· Master degree in communications engineering or equivalent course of studies
In order to be successful the candidate must have
· In-depth experience in developing Windows Applications and GUI design
· At least 5 years industrial strength experience in C# programming
· Experience with hands-on testing of software applications and unit tests
· Good understanding of best practice software engineering processes, e.g. version control, testing and release cycles.
· Strong communication skills to work with the local R&D team as well as the team in in Munich, Germany
In order to be successful the candidate may have knowledge about
· Experience in programming in C++/C
· Experience in client-server application development
· Experience in multi-thread/multi-process development
