12-Month Contract: C++ Developer - Mortgage Backed SecurityLarge, global investment bank located in NYC seeking a talented Senior C++ Software Developer for a 12-month contract to join the Mortgage Backed Security team to be involved with fixed-income analytics, interest rate and credit risk modeling. You will have the opportunity to use your strong quantitative background to evaluate models and data, while using your development experience to create an analytics product. Requirements:
* Min. 5+ years of development experience (including data structures, low-level C/C++ coding, programming, UI dev)
* Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field (Math, Stats, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering) or relevant
* Strong communication skills
* General financial knowledge a PLUS
* Background in fixed-income or MBS a PLUS
* Database experience a PLUS
