IT Support Technician required in Surrey!Proteus Europe, operating as an employment agency, is seeking an IT Support Technician to work in Reigate, Surrey on a permanent basis. Our client, a global leader is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their established team.As IT Support Technician you will join a multi-site IT Team who are responsible for the company's IT infrastructure. You will support Windows (Clients and Servers) and Linux environments across 3 sites - Luton, Cambridge and Cork (Ireland). You will actively support end-users with their workstations and the software that runs on them. You will also be involved in supporting the core infrastructure at these locations. Your tasks will include solving the wide ranging problems that arise, as well as performing installations, upgrades, and maintaining configurations. While primarily working to ensure the smooth operation of IT in these sites, you will also be involved with multi-site IT projects. Requirements:-Broad IT know-how in MS Windows environments and typical office applications-Good understanding and experience of Linux systems a real plus -Previous experience in both end user and backend IT support activities essential -Ability to get the job done with a proactive approach -Strong understanding of internal customer service -Structured, solution-oriented and ability to work independently -Ability and willingness to travel between these sites This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading corporation.
