UNIX / Linux Administrator
My client is the main support site for an international bank. They
require a system administrator to join their new team in Tralee.
You will join a team of 2 on the UNIX/Linux team. You will be
responsible for the implementation and administration of the UNIX
and Linux environment. You will get the opportunity to learn and
grow as the team grows. You will get global experience as you deal
with your counterparts in the US. They are looking for someone who
is interested in career progression and eager to learn. They are more
than happy to take on someone with a different system administration
back ground and train them in UNIX and Linux. The candidate will have
to show a genuine interest in Opensource technology or have some
experience with it. Experience in the financial industry will be a
good advantage with this.
Minimum requirements:
- Linux / UNIX experience or exposure
- Eager to learn and develop
- Friendly and outgoing within a team

VMware Virtualisation Engineer
There is an URGENT requirement for VMware Virtualisation Engineer in
a software company is Tralee. You will join the infrastructure team
of 10 and within that the Virtualisation team of 3. You will get the
opportunity to develop your skills in all areas of infrastrucre as you
will work closely with the rest of the team. You will be responsible
for the creating, building, implementing, maintaining, supporting and
planning of the virtualised environment. It is very exciting time to
join this team as they are going through a big process of change with
lots of interesting projects coming up such as Vcloud director and
VMware SRM.
Minimum requirements:
- 5 years hands on VMware experience OR 3 years in a large VMware
environment OR 3 years with VMware certification
- Implementing VMware projects experience
- Microsoft competency
Desirable:
- Linux
- SAN
- ITIL
