A well-established operator based in the heart of Londonare currently looking at a substantial growth plan due to a number of acquisitions completed last year.Part of this growth plan will entail looking for a Petroleum Engineer to join their team in summer 2013. This is a great opportunity for the right professional to embark on an interesting career, that might soon lead into technical leadership of the company's broad range of assets.
The remit is to provide hands-on petroleum engineering support for existing assets and potential future acquisitions, including reserves estimation and production forecasting. To act as the focal point for petroleum engineering services within the company covering the full spectrum of subsurface activity from exploration through to production management. To make timely and appropriate technical recommendations across the spectrum of data gathering, the monitoring of current a future wells, economic modelling, and reservoir simulation processes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience as a petroleum engineer. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of essential software packages, as well as the ability to demonstrate significant experience of classic engineering techniques, and an understanding of GeoScience disciplines.
