Description
You will play a pivotal role within the PMO and be responsible for project governance and process improvement. You will work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance to project methodology (PRINCE 2) through time critical projects. You will manage a small team of project co-ordinators to ensure compliance across the group.
To be successful in this role your background will boast the following;
- 5-10 years experience leading a PMO and/or working in a senior PMO or project manager role
- PRINCE2 project delivery and governance experience
- Excellent reporting skills with a proven ability to work at senior levels to report on strategic project issues and overall program governance issues
- Ability to facilitate and train project managers and business analysts on project methodology,standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading and developing a small project team
- Experience with the CMM and process improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
