Senior Java Developer/Architect
For a leading client in the financial sector in Brussels, we are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer/Architect for a 6 months + contract.
English is mandatory and you should be fluent in either Dutch or French and at least with some understanding of the other language.
Job Description
In the context of an important program, our cliebnt is actively searching for a confirmed Java Expert, in order to participate to the evolution of their framework(s).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities around their framework evolution (based on IBM's BTT
framework):
- Roadmap evolution
- Configuration management of the framework versions.
- Documentation management.
- Training (preparation of the supports and training of the team).
- Gather existing documentation, structure it, update it and complete it in order to build a coherent set of standard and guidelines to deliver to the development team (propose a phasing approach in order to deliver ASAP the first versions).
- Implement in parallel the checklists and the review processes in phase with the standards and guidelines in order to implement continuous quality controls of the coding.
- Propose evolutions of our Java Framework (anticipate the necessary evolutions required to comply with the new requirements of our business).
Technical Skills:
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Java.
- At least 1 year of experience in Framework design.
