My client, a leading Banking Group is looking for a Strategic Developer to act as a project interface between line SME's, change management teams and other stakeholders to work within the Regulatory Reporting team.
The successful candidate will be required to develop a clear understanding of project requirements to the point that the individual can be considered a supplementary SME. The candidate must also ensure that all daily and monthly controls including reconciliations are efficiently set up and passed onto productions teams with full process notes and provide assistance to ensure a smooth handover. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of either Basel 3 or CRD 4as the role requires the development of these processes to ensure that the business runs as efficiently as possible.
Ideally the candidate will be educated to Degree level or have an equivalent to this along with an Accounting Qualification ( CIMA, ACA or ACCA). The leading candidate should also have at least 3-4 years Banking experience with ideally at least 2 years FSA regulatory reporting experience. Experience in a Capital Management function with a detailed understanding of technical and upcoming regulatory rules is also needed. Finally the candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills as conveying complex issues to senior management will be expected.
