Description
Background: My client is a Brussels based international bank; they have a massive programme of projects and are looking for a QA Analyst who would be able to advise Project Managers on Quality Assurance and related issues so that key projects are delivered on time, within scope, quality and cost.
Tasks:
- To support a number of projects in parallel and perform extended Quality assessment ie. not only on processes but also on content and provide an overall evaluation of the quality of the projects;
- To support the Project Leaders defining their action plan to close the observed quality gaps and to develop further their competencies;
- To advise Project leaders on the Project Management best practices (eg. Planning, Cost Management, Deliverables Management, Stakeholders Management, Risks and Issues Management, Change Management etc);
- To provide support/lead the analysis of transversal issues related to project management processes;
- To promote continuous improvement of the Quality Management System;
Ideally you will have worked in the banking/finance sector before, preferably in securities trading or clearing or settlement fields.
Skills:
- Experience in Project Management and/or Quality Assurance;
- Proven track record of results (experience in using Project Management methodology);
- Able to develop and sell best practices, you can engage and influence Project Leaders (coaching);
Some appreciation of the financial sector, Back Office, settlement, custody, investment funds industry etc. is desired. Previous experience in investment banking, asset management, funds management, custody, stock exchange or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. Crest, Euroclear, Clearstream, LCH Clearnet, stock exchanges etc) will be a big plus.
