FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO WORK IN CAMBRIDGE!!!!!!Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to work in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire on a permanent basis. My client a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of digital radios, infrastructure and applications, is looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer with strong Windows, Unix, UML, COM and MFC experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ownership of Windows C++ development, implementing new and improving on the current tool set and evaluating new tools to improve productivity. Therefore the client is looking for the following candidate profile:
Essential:
- Strong Windows C++ development experience
- Familiar with both Windows and Unix based systems
- UML
Desirable:
- COM
- MFC
- Experience with other languages (C#, Java, Perl, Python, Bash)
- Automated Unit Testing
- Perforce
