Description
A top financial services software vendor is currently expanding it's development team and require a server side C# developer.The company are currently developing an execution management system for their clients which allow them to view transactions in real time. The role will see you in a position responsible for full lifeycyle development using TDD and agile methodologies. The role will require you to assess various systems with a view to design, develop and optomise system performance.
Key Requirements:
- C#.net, Visual Studio
- Expert Server Side programming (WCF)
- Strong SQL Skills (Stored Procedures, Indexing, Query Plans)
- Experience of multi-threading and/or high concurrency systems
- Advanced knowledge of messaging protocols (WebServices, MQ etc)
- XML and XSLT preferable
- Analytical thinker, someone who is interested in developing well designed and efficient software
- Financial Services knowledge and experience.
This is a 6 month rolling contract based in London City. Ideally looking for individuals available immediately or with short notice.
Daily rate is up to £400 per day dependant on experience.
